Getting in the mood

There's much more to an awards ceremony than what happens on stage. From the red carpet arrivals to the wild partying, we work to capture the atmosphere, the details, and the personalities of these wonderful events.

The dinner

From intimate churches to the grandest ballrooms in town, the dining area is an opportunity to show off design, focus and scale. Photography is generally low-light, using the best possible equipment to make beautiful images, without the disruption of flash.

The speakers

Everyone, organisers and guests alike, wants to see their hosts looking good. And these photos are great for use in write-ups and articles about the awards.

The presentations

As far as possible, we try to get a little more out of these than just "people stood in a line". Putting in a bit of humour and energy (and occasionally a little trickery) to get images that are full of life and spirit. But every one shot multiply and carefully selected (or edited) to ensure they're all spot-on: no eyes closed, and everyone looking as good as they can be.

Memorable moments

Whether it's a beautifully set-up room, fine details, or a big wide money shot, every awards photo set will have a creative angle; giving much more than the predictable handshakes and raised glasses.

Reactions

While the formal business is going on at the front, we spot much more happening everywhere else. Quick reactions catch those unforgettable reactions of joy and celebration.

After-shots

Whether it's the government minister posing for the official record of proceedings, or more spontaneous picture-grabbing by enthusiastic winners, we get you a rich haul of varied, high-energy images, capturing the moment perfectly.
