Above, I've taken a couple of screengrabs from a current site, and shown the impact of using a consistent, owned, image library – using your own people, places and materials. (These examples are drawn from other projects I've done, but you can see how they can very quickly bring more polish and authenticity to the site.)
The costs are negligible for a business of any size. A half-day of photography should yield around 50 top-quality (and a day, around 100) owned, exclusive images to populate your library – with diversity of people, locations and activities.
